All the secrets I’ve kept
My nocturnal missions of death
I’ve murdered so many, I keep them close
In my crawlspace, my garden…no one knows

Sometimes at night I toast them all
My glasses raised, I heeded the call
To DESTROY something beautiful, to satisfy the urge
My adventures in mayhem I fondly recall…

The memories of my crimes – so dear to me
Knowing they’re beneath the floor where no one can see
It’s exhilarating, their bones decaying buried so deep
I douse the lights and head off to sleep

Awakened by the sounds – is that scratching at the door?
Or is someone clawing, ripping, screeching underneath the floor?
I look outside and see the earth turning from below
Who is in my back yard – someone I know?

From the depths of the crawlspace – THEY RISE
Ripping through the floorboards the dead are now alive!
My victims have returned, somehow to seek revenge
For the acts that I performed before they breathed their last

Retreating to the garden, hopelessly to find
The dead emerging from the earth before my very eyes
I’m trying to escape, these damn things are closing in
From every direction – FROM EVERY DIRECTION !!!!!
